Hamble is flat but the road up to Tesco at Bursledon is a gradual incline, then anything on towards anywhere seems to be up and down steep everywhere. Return option through Royal Vistoria Country Park is a pleasant car free return or outbound route.
Been going at it every Sunday now for four weeks, just to start building the stamina. I need to get a mid week ride in, but the dark evenings and getting hioe aeround 7pm doesn't help.
I saw Phoenix's training plan, and I wil try to follow that. I do know I have a very long way to go.
