Hi guys , Help needed . A few days ago .I connected my tablet to a 300w inverter and plugged it in to the boats 12v system ..... a set up iv used many times before albeit with a different tablet . All went well. With the charge but on glancing to the BM2 It was indicating 8.5V with a little alarm bell showing . I quickly did a drop test on the house batteries ( a set of four trojan t145s ) and all batteries were show 12.8V ish . Turned leccy master switch off to see if the BM would settle down and reset but still. Showing between 8 and 11v showing little charge amps presumably because the house batteries are fully charged . Anyone any idea what went wrong or indeed whats still wrong or is the meter just simply buggered ? Regards Terry

It sounds like BM is reading the volts incorrectly.

Check the reading with a reliable multimeter. . . . . . You can check the multimeter is giving a sensible reading on your car battery . . . . . Check the fuse / fuse holder , they are known to be troublesome

Check all the BM connections
