I currently have a standard car radio wired to cockpit speakers, what is the best way to connect it wireless to either speakers or headphones, would a 3.5mm jack adaptor work? thx
Thanks for the response,Possibly simpler to replace the car radio with a version with built in Bluetooth adapter
Thanks for the response,
The radio has a sd card & usb facility( both of which I use) the idea of a Bluetooth adaptor was that I could also plug into tv to stream sound to cockpit.

May I clarify whether you are trying to
(a) Take sound out of the radio to wirelessly stream to a bluetooth speakers or headphones or
(b) Take sound wirelessly from an external source (e.g. telly) and input it to an aux socket on the radio so that it can be played over the cockpit speakers?
And does your radio have a 3.5mm jack and is it for aux in or headphones out?
Ans. a. sound out to spk's or h/phones
second, 3.5mm jack. i'm fairly certain aux in, don't think h/phones out. (away from boat atm)
