For your area I can recommend Destry Marine at Hamble Point. They sprayed my HR31 in 2001 and when sold in 2010 still looked perfect, Awlgrip used. Boat pictured at Shotley East Coast so not any good for you.

Does anyone know the best way to polish blue hulled boats so they do not fade or at least fade slowly over the season.

Some very good advice in this thread, it is nice to note that we are becoming more aware of just what's involved and what it takes to restore and then maintain a decent finish.

In short:
The best way to polish a blue hulled boat (or any) for maximum durability, is to spend some serious time on each and every sq ft, possibly with many tools, techniques and products mentioned above, until a very high gloss has been formed that is perfect in clarity of reflection even under the scrutiny of harsh sunlight or similar. This can then be sealed off to oxygen with a product that should contain a UV inhibitor and leave a false surface tension for water interaction.

Once the surface has started to fade is too late for any work to be called 'preventative' or a product to be applied and given the task of being 'sacrificial'. This is shutting the door after the horse has bolted.
Paint on what treacle you like, thick or thin, it's a pain to remove when it fails. Sparkly products come and go, what remains is common sense and effort.
