Blue gellcoat for Regal - Help Please.........

Hello All,

Frequesnt reader, infrequent poster after some advice / help.

I have done "a little damage" to my Regal and need half a litre of Regal dark blue gellcoat for the repairman.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately there is no one Regal Blue color. You need to define at least year of manufacture and probably model to search and get close.

Could be "Pacific Blue ASH LVOC"

Alternatively, a gel coat supplier should have a bucket of samples they can let you borrow to match the exact colour, which can be a better idea as you can allow for fading.

It is a Regal 2400 Bowrider - I'm pretty sure it is an 06 boat.

Force 4 have quite a range of gelcoat colours, you could try them?

I know the guy who is (or used to be I'm not sure ) the european export manager for Regal,
he is in Austria, he might know where to get the paint,
if you still didn't find, I can PM his email and phone number

Note I dont think they can send gelcoat by plane , so it would be shipped. If the boat is 8 years old, the gel colour probably wont match that well now anyway.
If you are going to need as much as half a litre, your gel man ought to be able to mix it. I managed to mix it on blue Regal to 90pct ok, and I didnt even know what I was doing. Ok, it took me half a day
Damn good boat the 2400 b/rider. Had alot of fun myself and still towable behind a big enough car.
