Blue Ensign

At the risk of incurring the wrath of the forum for posting again about flags - I am intrigued by an ensign seen in Portsmouth Harbour yesterday.

At first sight it looked like an undefaced blue ensign - a common sight in Portsmouth. However, the burgee was defintely not RNSA, and as the yacht wearing it passed me I could make out a small crown in the centre of the Union Flag.

Any suggestions as to what it was ?

So far as I'm aware this is the ensign of the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club.

Quite possibly the RAYC as suggested, but there are various variations on the theme Here

It could also be Royal Southampton or Royal Torbay, they all have identical ensigns.

Thanks for the link - It was the first time I have noticed a defaced ensign where the motif was not in the fly.
