Apart from a break for a beer with MoodySabre this afternoon, it's been relentless.

I've finally finished off the electrics, so now have 170ah of batteries, charged by the sterling on shore power, and solar cells and rutland otherwise. Through deck fitting installed for the Rutland (I found a spare in my box of goodies). The boat is slightly tidier than it was earlier, but I still have about an hour or so to go, then curry time. I have vindaloo paste!

I've got to do my passage planning for tomorrow too. I want the time back that I spent in bed the morning after CPD had me cornered in the bar /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Oh, I finally managed ot get enough of a connection to upload the next youtube vid. It only took 3 hours!

This one is much more relaxed than the last I think.

Lovely pictures of the RBOD hard and fast aground.

And I see you have hada splendid Essex sunset in the creeks. Brilliant aren't they.

What a really enjoyable video. So good I'll watch it again later today. Some of the beauty of the East Coast is so well captured, and any doubter would do well to watch it and see the kind of guy you are.

With your culinary tastes I fear you may be doomed to sail single-handed for ever - I'm not sure I'd want to share such small space with you after one of your hot curries!

Do please put links on this forum to future videos on your voyage.

You'll find them at 51 35.18N 000 50.29E

Yokesfleet is about, roughly, a mile past the first corner if the Roach. It's not easy to see until you're right next to it... well, not from Kudu with 6" of freeboard. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
 
It's my favorite anchorage. Go just past the underwater cable to be right by them. They come to the playing ov a penny whistle, too (honest!) At night the phosphorus is spectacular at the right time of year. I've seen my anchor chain lit up all the way down!

I usually go mid week and it's just me and the seals but last bank holiday there were four other boats there! I hate crowds.

Thanks. Found and noted. Penny whistle packed. Hope we get good weather over half term, then I will have the excuse.

Your trip up the Wallet today sounds familiar. The worst bit always seems to be where the collection of buoys is (ie Eagle et al.) Presume it is where wind against tide is at its strongest. Past then and it is a bit easier, but no fun especially in a small boat.
