But . he's got has raggie thing to sell first../forums/images/icons/frown.gif He says he's going to sail it out of Glasson Dock into the Ribble, up to Tarlton and up the leeds Liverpool to Hull. Then round the coast to France, for some unknown reason he thought it was 90HP, I had not the heart to say it was 65HP!! It's cat D. Fit for rivers and estuaries. It is a lovely boat but me being used to 400hp and an off shore boat. The thoughts of taking the barge to sea has me in horor!! Maybe it's just me!!

well being the actual barge owner, & I having had a number of near escapes on muckyfarter, so the cheek of whats being said !!! yes the guy (hope he doesn't read this) did seem to have an expection of things that are above the station of a river/canal boat, being Hull to France well, dream on unless you want total nightmares. But MF nearly sank in Falmouth marina, (the coat guard was called oh yes !) so don't cast apertions (however its spellt - yes we do have some things in common) re my boat look to yr own.
