Bit of a shot in the dark.
I want to take out all the cheap shiny MFI like laminated peeling wood and cupboards that flex when you touch them, and replace them with something a bit more substantial and varnished to a deep rich colour for a cosy atmosphere
Wondered if anyone had some links to some good blogs etc. I've done lots of searches for 'DIY interior refit' but rarely find what I'm looking for.
Blogs on making cupboards (with the ring pull catches), teak trimming, and drawers would be great. Pictures of your wood working projects would be also welcomed.
I'm more than happy to take the challenge on, my dads a word carver so we have all the woodworking tools, but a wood carver is not a carpenter, so it's always nice to see what other people have done.
...and lets face it, its too darn cold to work on the outside, so may as well work on the inside
