That does indeed sound obvious...except that NOBODY actually sells the bigger, more expensive blocks.

That cannot be correct Dan. There are boats of 100ft or more in harbour at the moment and they dont have Barton no7s.

Quite right Ken! I should have said "my" big boat (27'), I can quite imagine on big racey stuff you may need them. I don't mind admitting that in the 49er it's full on race mode, but in the Sabre we tend to be very lazy when it comes to tweaking and trimming...might spill the gin!
