Just to make the South coast fraternity happy the snow coming down here on the Clyde wholesale!!! A good few roads further north blocked by snow....and here is me thinking of popping down to take the winter covers off!!! ah well back to the house building for today........the good news is the sun is not too far away looking at the weather radar.

Paul.

8 on the boat at the moment, 4 per side, still 5 lurking under the potting bench, keep tripping over the dam things, 3 large polyform jobs hanging from the workshop rafters.

Paul.

Sunny in Ayr, though there was a snow shower an hour ago. Didn't amount to much.
Work colleague in Aberdeen is worried he'll not get home tonight... the lane to his gaff is regularly snowed up.

Paul,

You do like taking the pi$$ out of the Sassenachs, don't you? shame on you /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

OK so Arran is mostly covered with snow and we did have a wee flurry of snow this morning but snowing wholesale? I can SEE Arran and I'm about 30 miles away at the moment. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It's minus 1deg C at Aberdeen airport at the moment. 24kts, gusting 36

Snow showers about when the vis comes down to about 1000mtrs.

But apart from that, it's a nice day. In fact, any Friday is a nice day ! !

Its still sunny in Southampton, but its getting murra dark to the north. At least I remembered to wrap the banana tree back up in its fleece last night.

Banana "tree"? You're the gardener but is the banana a proper a tree.? As this is a weather thread I suppose I should add that it's 76f and raining here and our bananas look great!

Wot d\'you think this is, Gardeners\' question time?

If I wanted technical correctness I would have posted on R2R or the classic forum. As far as any Yotti is concerned, if it grows in the ground and has something resembling a trunk, with leaves in the summer, that makes it a tree.
And even if it were to fruit I don't think British bananas would be edible.

Its still getting darker and it still hasn't started snowing. Maybe I should put off varnishing for this weekend. ( latest )

Me take the pi$$ out of the Sasenach's shurley not...!! Honest guv the snow was coming down holesale here at 1030.....could'nt even see Dundonald hill from my gaff..... glad to say though that as the day went on the sun shone......maybe the winter covers will come off next week....off home to Lancashire 4 weekend.

Paul.

Thay explains it! - at 10:30 I was still checking out my eyelids for pinholes while SHMO was cooking the breakfast /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is that one of these big ones with all the high bits at the pointy end, and a big flat parking space on the back??

Might be just a tad big for my needs, but I'd love to have a go driving one just for the fun ! !
