In preparation for taking a first trip in the new Galion 22 I thought I would wash my waterproof trousers, to mark the ocsasion and all.

As usual I left a number of things in the pockets: petrol receipt, a rare five pound note and a small penknife. Now the pockets are supposed to be waterproof, with double folding flaps and all sorts of high-tech aspects but I was stunned to see all the stuff was still dry after all that spinning. If I had been thrown around that much onboard, my last concern would be the train fair home! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

perhaps you tell us more about "baltic trousers"!what they cost you what colours they come in and if they are wet weather gear for the baltic(rain)are they walm for cold weather use only or baltic summers as well??---

Anything that keeps the beer tokens in usable condition is worth a mention /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Now Balti Trousers would be something else.

Impervious to curry stains and looking the same on Saturday morning as they did on Friday evening when you went out 'just for a quick drink with a couple of mates' would be more like it.

There's a market out there methinks. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

remarkable and you end up on Sat morning with the same £ notes in your pocket as before the beers started!

Me too. my present sailing trousers seem to allways have less fivers in than expected on Sunday mornings . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

PS There must be some moths gathering in yours if theres still pound notes in them. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
