I managed to break my Blakes Victory round bowl last night much to my horror (I was trying to fix a leak and overtightened the bolts - idiot). Does anyone know where I can find a replacement round bowl? Are there any companies who deal in second hand spares? Thanks (legs crossed!) /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Darn those curries! /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Round bowl Blakes are often on ebay, I would love to find a lid for my round bowl one but all the ones I see are without the lid.

If you find a supplier please let me know. Cheers.

I will do... I've been on the phone to stacks of people today & will also keep an eye on eBay. Will let you know what crops up.

Re: Blakes Victory - Broken bowl

I broke the bowl of my Baby Blake in exactly the same way and bought a second hand one in the barge on the Hamble River. At that time there was a very good selection of bowls and mine was half the price of a new one. If all else fails contact Blakes to see how much a new one costs.

Re: Blakes Victory - Broken bowl

Thanks - I have contacted Blakes but they now only do an oval bowl (mine's round) which would mean changing the seat and lid. What is the name of the barge on the Hamble? Is it a chandlery? I'm not familiar with the area. Hugh

Thank you all - I now have one courtesy of Foulkes & Son on 023 8040 6349. It's a Baby not a Victory, but the lid will fit & that's fantastic news.

It the Chandlery Barge at Riverside Boatyard, Blundall Lane, Anthony Foulkes is the man.

Its a riverside version of Steptoe's Yard run by Hampshire's very own Del Boy Trotter!
