Daughter and partner have a mooring at Stone and they are having difficulty finding anything but third party insurance. Not sure whether it's just Stone or the Blackwater in general. Who do people use for insurance on the Blackwater? Should have mentioned the boat is a Sadler 29.

There should be some Stone/Marconi people on here but seems a bit quiet. If you don't get a response maybe speak to the club or the team that lay the moorings to see what others are finding.

Arrangements for laying, inspecting and regular checking of the moorings and boats, may be of interest to the insurance company. Mine has set specific conditions, mentioning annual inspection top to bottom to 'industry best standards' . Also they like that there is a 'drive by' check each day and people around daily to take action if something was to happen. Marconi Club has a page on their website on mooring maintenance and a video

A new insurance company might want an updated survey. There are other threads on this.

Try a local marine insurance broker who will know the location and what might be possible.

Try Visicover - they will let you put in the exact Lat/Lon. The expect it to be professionally maintained. In most locations only April-October but you can ask for more which may have different conditions.
