Black sea

Has anyone sailed the Black Sea in 2017 or has plain to sail the Black Sea in 2018 ,
Looking for up to date info .

When I get things sorted with the boat ,I was considering the Black sea, if Greece imposes new taxes.

Vic: was in the Black Sea three years ago, so outside your time frame. Thoroughly enjoyed the Dardanelles, Sea of Marmara and Bosphorous, less so the Black Sea itself although we were only in it for a couple of weeks. The seas slop about like a washing-up bowl. It may be of particular interest to you that booze, esp wine, is much dearer than Aegean Turkey (it was to me). Great trip, though: wouldn't have missed it.

I'd imagine that there might be problems with passports and visas round the Crimea.
