I thought it had caught fire but apparently not.

The boat next to it in the shot is a peel pig. I got confused.

No idea what it was. Wooden clinker day boat type thing. Shame really as no doubt a pride and joy once upon a time.

Ring henshaws and get a custom tube made up. Diesel rib on shaft. What's not to like

having said that I have searched for a decent plywood tender but couldn't find one I liked, actually PLANS of one I liked in order to built it.

not sure they've done it the right way round...
Down here you strip the boat of engine/shaft/prop and anything else salvageable FIRST, and THEN you chop it up
