Got the renewal bad news in the post. Big price increase. Insurance (especally for 76yr old MIL) is now cheaper though one of these "advantage" (or similar bank accounts).
Checked with First Direct enhanced bank account "Directories" and Yachting holidays only covered when under direction of a lead skipper and in a flottila. Tip insurance cover is for names on account so go for enhanced bank account for only the joint account and it also covers mobile phones!
I am not looking for mid channel rescue insurance only hospital/medical insurance if taken ill or accident in port. Tempting to buy a quick foot passenger ferry ticket just before attending any hospital as its cheaper that RYA travel policy!! Claims usually need to be accompanied by travel invoice!! - but thats naughty!!
