Biscuits

No, but I would be willing to have a go if I was stuck.

There would be no margin for error and if things went awry it could get very messy. The biscuits are designed to soak up a certain amount of water/glue and swell in situ, so that would be a factor to consider.

ive only ever used gorilla glue once . Wouldnt use it again . Messy horrible stuff .
I also wouldnt use biscuits on a boat unless they where the plastic toothed ones .

No not another food item :D

I normally use biscuits with PVA. Has anyone used them with Gorilla Glue et al?

Have used them with epoxy. All worked fine. I was depending on the biscuits to marry up a few mahogony planks for a fore-hatch. There is a problem with the hatch leaking, but I don't think it has anythng to do with the biscuits. Next time I'd tongue and groove it. But I hope there isn't a next time!

With PVA the water absorption swells the biscuits to grip the slots. Not sure you get the same effect with other glues.

I think I used them with Cascophen for the dining room table. It has held up very well for 18 years. I'm not taking it to bits to remind myself what's in there.
