I can’t imagine any sea being large enough to break over the superstructure of Cunard’s Queen Victoria. Or maybe that’s ‘rather not’. Still, even on a 1000ft cruise ship, a 10m swell is enough to put some passengers off their noshWe crossed Bass Strait and had 10 hours over 55 knots on a beam reach, 3 reefs in the main, no headsail, averaging 8 knots. We don't have a dining room. The seas broke straight over the cabin roof, autopilots and radar are great inventions,
