Going on from the Biofuel post and to state a few facts
I have a friend who runs a number of outside catering units. He brought a Biofuel plant (£1800) that makes about 250l a time.
It costs him excluding the oil ( he has so much used oil from the units ) about 20p a litre to make. Chemicals and power but excluding his time. The main problem is getting rid of the leftover "soap". On and off it take a day to make a batch.
He has run both his lorries on it all last year with no problem. He is under the 2500l limit so no tax to pay.
