Moving stuff about in the depths of one of our stores this morning, I came across a load of aluminium billet left over from a long ago project.
As I had forgotten about it for almost a decade, it is now buckshee, and going to be "mine" for fun purposes. That means for the yacht.
it is all 6 inches wide, and varies in thickness from 12.5, 15, 25, 40,50mm.
Obviously there will be some fancy billet cup holders made to the wife's specification.
I was wondering what you chaps would use it for if you had such a supply, and the machinery to work it.
I will be making an anchor mount for starters.
