Never done that, but have done:
boat on hardstanding,
remove deckshoes,
climb aboard,
use bilge pump,
finish off other stuff,
climb back down,
last step, aim for shoes and ... ... SQUELCH /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
both shoes filled with bilge water.
