painting the bilges can't go wrong can it? No, and it looks all nice and new, bosh, no manuals to read or anything. BUT...the frigging paint costs £30 quid a litre. Arg! What the hell is in that Danboline that makes it cost £30 blimmin quid? I mean, it's gotta be normal sort of gloop that sets hard by evaporating a bit or a lot, like dulux gloss, no?

Did mine with light grey industrial floor paint, which the makers told me was capable of resisting oil grease diesel etc. can't remember how much it was for a 2.5 ltr tin but it was a lot cheaper than danboline and has stood up well and is easy to wipe clean.

Now come along, wake up! Its for a "marine" purpose - thats why they want to extract your liver in payment. As every chandler knows, all MoBo owners have two livers and two wallets!! As someone else indicated, get some industrial floor resin.

£30 a tin is the gold fleck variety, draws the attention away from the rocker covers.

Sorry Phil, but the B&Q 'cheapskate' Garage floor paint is tough stuff. You want to blow another 75% on 'pucca boaty paint' that no bugger is ever going to walk on, please feel free!

But Phil do remember that if you buy Matts boat it is going to be far more difficult to play Musical Chairs around Ocean Village, aint it. Stick with the one you've got, far easier to move to a new location every other week and they really don't give a bugger what colour the bilges are!!
