Biggest rip off - official

The best rip off scam I heard about was in an Aussie porno mag. Someone placed an ad for imported Scandanavian hard-core sex videos for a good price, say $20. Loads of people paid and ordered but a little while later they received a letter saying that the company regretted that their importer had let them down and they could no longer supply the videos and enclosed was a genuine cheque refunding them their $20.

Trouble was, the cheque was clearly marked with the company's name which along the lines of "The anal sex and perverse fetishes company" and of course 99% people were too embarassed to take it to the bank and cash it in, hence they wrote off the $20. And of course the company made a packet.

Dodgy I know but you gotta admire their creativity with that one!

[/ QUOTE ]Which is one reason why I would not trade with "Smak.co.uk" nor any other mail order Co. that did not publish their telephone number(s) and physical address. (Just incase I have to send someone round to sort out problems in person /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )
