I just googled to try and find the name of the mate on board Amity, I think his name is Kevin, who I thought was the real star of the show, but came across this!

You're right Nick, Kevin is the guy, a real character. Very sad to hear of his passing.
We are seeing the 2 series now, Divemaster's right, the on deck work would be horrendous.

Different Kevin guys!!!!... The mate is still going strong to my knowledge... this poor guy (and family) was the skipper on another vessel...
