Big Foot needs protection

I have a wide foot that most sailing boots squash and means I have to buy the next size up to even have a chance of getting a reasonable width fitting. Neither Dubarry or Henry lloyd make a sailing boot other than standard width fitting (although dubarry do cater for those with thicker calves).

Does anybody have any suggestions?

lobb would make you a last and then you could have your sailing boats made to fit your feet properly.

Not cheap though!

I have the same problem. Have you tried the Musto HPX ankle boot? They lace up like a normal shoe and are the widest I've found.
