She called in today to fuel up, apparently she took on 100 tons of fuel and wanted more, but i think that would have left Guernsey dry

I'd be curious to hear if anyone know the reason for such weird anchor & windlass setup.

According to Channel island news, she took on £80.000 worth of diesel at i would guess 34p per litre, maybe 35pl

I like the tenders on the thing. There is a nice expedition vessel on Essex boat yards called Merlin G and is £3million I think. The weird windlass setup maybe because of where the chain locker is so the windlass is further back. It also looks like a hatch is in the way for the windlass to be in the normal place.

100 tons is 120,000 litres, so it would be 33.3p per litre if £80,000 is correct. All sounds about right, I paid 35p per litre a few weeks ago for 2400 litres.
