Big batteries

Did you use them on the d4? Mine starts but sounds a little sluggish v the starboard that as 3.
What amp size did you purchase?

It‘s one of these - starting a D4-260.

The engine connected to the three other batteries does spin a bit faster on start, but I’d expect that.

thanks going to order one as the current one does start but with gritted teeth each time. Sealine should have put a bigger battery box in so we could get larger capacity batteries fitted. With 2 fridges they soon get Pulled down. Has anyone fitted additional on a sc35 and if so where did they fit them?

What you could do is have two dedicated batteries in the engine bay somewhere for Port engine start.
Then the four in the aft cabin would be the domestic bank and Stbd engine start.

But that’s beyond my DIY capabilities.

I was thinking of doing that, I think the cables will pull back so should not be too difficult once a battery box is fitted.
