Bicycle storage

Have you considered folding bikes which may be stored in the lazarette or spare cabin.

Definitely consider folding bikes that are not stored outside. Bikes stored anywhere on deck will quickly rust to oblivion. We carry two 'Brompton' fold up bikes and store indoors on board. We've had them now for 10 years and have never had a problem with them. They fold up more compactly and quicker than any other brand.

We've carried folding electric bikes on the aft deck (of an aft cabin boat) for the last 3 years. They are kept in carry bags while at sea and assembled each time on the pontoon. It is an effort lowering/lifting them onto the pontoon and I'm not sure how long I will continue to do that. I have considered putting them in the Rib (for transport) and using the electric davits to lower them onto the pontoon. We have a 3.1 metre rib which you could probably put 2 full size mountain bikes in.

I agree Brompton are very good indeed .
My wife and I have 'Bickerton Junction'. Not as light or compact as the Bromptons but less cost. The pair of Bickertons fit very nicely in the lazarette on my boat.

Folding bikes changed our whole world of cruising as we can now explore places we visit better.

Despite their size and smaller wheels than a full size bike, it is surprising how far you can travel on them. We find them easy to get on and off the boat without much physical effort and especially easy to avoid clanking and banging them off the gel coat. When using anchorages or mooring buoys we even pop them in the dingy when going ashore.

I have to say that despite the fact that Bromptons are stupidly expensive, they are beautifully engineered and look as though they'll last a few years on a boat. But equally importantly there is a big range of clip on luggage available which means they can be used for carrying shopping and other stuff

Why don't you just post the details here?
OK! Here is the short version.
Foldable MTB from Montague
All functions of a MTB but much easier to stow, particularly with both wheels removed.
Means that all components and neessary know-how are "standard" and therefore available in any bike shop.
Frames alone not normally available but some "old stock" available in the US.

Im guessing from your user name that you have orange mountain bikes?

Either way if theyre decent mountain bikes i cant see them liking being stored anywhere near the deck , i suspect theyll be seized up within a few weeks.
As per the other suggestions i think youll need some sort of air tight bag to keep them in.
