Just ordered one of them to use as a tender, I've been looking for a while for something that is light and robust to fit on my davits, which aren't particularly.
I remembered my Dad had one when he ran a fishing boat and lummy, they still make them although I haven't seen one for years (25?) or does that tell me something /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A very able little boat. I remember going ashore in one at St. Katherines once and getting swamped by a passing trip boat (tossers one and all!) We stood up in the boat and carried on with only the engine sticking out of the water!

i have got one that i use every day and i have had it over two years also its very stable in a 3 foot chop blowing a 8 ! and i dont wear a life jacket i just tie a rope around my waist and use the bic as it is unsinkable, anyway you have made a good choice and you wont regret buying one.

I sea trialed the strawberry and white (good taste eh) vessel yesterday and returned slightly puffed out, with a couple of snags but otherwise as intact as when I set off.
The snags were, oars too tight in rowlocks, the hand grips not being glued to the oars, exacerbating the first problem and Albert getting his head bumped every time I produced a powerful manly stroke, oh yes and calls of "mind your wash, its a six knot limit" when they could stop laughing enough.
