BIB Number (if thats what it is)

Still Quite new to sailing but walking round the marina we've seen a few boats with the letters BIB and a number in small print and we've asked a few people around there what this is but no-one seems to know so wondered if anyone here could shed some light - see attached pic

Never heard of it.

Is this in the UK or somewhere else?

Could be some kind of permit, proving that the boat has paid to be moored somewhere or other?

the boat is moored in Conwy marina but its on others in there which we found odd

Hmm thats a good point because we believe the boat was currently brought up from Brighton
