Around 10 boats set off on Friday and Saturday in near millpond conditions on a visit to the marina at Conyer.
Careful planning (bit of luck)ensures that you can get your boat under Kingsferry bridge without faffing with lifts and there being sufficent water to take the shortcut across the mud flats , to avoid a long run round an island.
The Saturday arrivals taking the long route round due to no water over the mud flats.

Creek entrance is well bouyed after that its withies

Taken on previous visit at LW.

A very friendly and welcoming marina with an on site bar and pub nearbye in the middle of apple/pair orchards and farm land.
Noticable amount of fruit lying on the ground unpicked.
Loads of nearbye walks.
Caught the train into Whitstable, aka Nottinghill -on -Sea , on the Sunday, standing room only on the train.
Lots of very affluent folks walking gear on display and sad dearth of "kiss me quick" hats and candy floss.
