thought go to bed, turn down the heating, dinette cushion removed due to small dripping water leak from the frozen deck. BANG. Ambulance called out. Off to the hospital for all night treatment, sliced off a bit of leg and told to vist the plastic surgeon ASAP.

happy - NEW YEAR, DO HOPE yours was better.

Also told the busiest night of the year for treatment, but I only saw one other women. The treatment was great, & hlb had a good nights sleep, so ok there

Blimey, that's nasty, but you'll probably be able to sort it out by shovin a bit of silicon sealer in it. If that fails you might have to strip it down and replace any worn bits to make a lasting repair. Just make sure whatever is done doesn't look to unsightly. Nothin worse than an unsightly repair on a deck. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Sorry to hear about the leg injury, hope all is well. HLB woke up yet??

sliced leg a bit sore, need a skin transfer, if I'm seeing a plastic doctor tummy tuck would be good place for urm skin transfer

Hi Debs, sorry to hear about your fall, great to see that you have kept your sense of humour. Were you in Conwy at the time?

Wooden Lockers who's boat were you on then.......... yours is all plastic. Come on come clean, your looking to get something with a bit of character!

Sorry to hear about the injury, I'm told that plenty of Brandy helps healing and if it doesn't you wont care anyway . /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Gas leak? petrol drip? Wind in the, er, willows?
Tell all please.

When are you two going to realise that boating is probably not for you? I think if I had had as many, sinkings, breakdowns, groundings, frozen pipes, fuel leaks, bog explosions, marina lock ins, injuries and Kawasaki made repairs, I would have given up by now.

Hopefully the rest of your year will be less eventful.

leg's a true mess, after Kwack arrived today left him (with great, great thanks) to do everthing, now back at Conwy. Anchored in the river noticed the marina lights had turned red, ages before time, apparently down to things freezing. Anyway they relented & let us in. Then putting out a fender thro the window trapped my thumb. Major you are right we are a complete disaster.
