Beta Marine BV1505 Approx. Value?

Hello,

I have a fully working Beta Marine BV1505 fitted in my 1982 IOR former America's Cup challenger which I am removing and want to sell, however I'm unsure what its actual value is/should be.

I'm going back down next Monday so can gather more info like run time, installation date etc but if someone could give me a rough guide to secondhand engine prices that would be great.

Probably best I don't say why I'm removing it on here as that will open a whole can of worms and take us off thread!!

Good used engines sell well at prices up to 50% of new. Actual price will depend on condition and kit that goes with it. Best to sell with it running in the boat as you can demonstrate that it works. Might even be lucky enough to find a buyer willing to remove it - useful for them as it will help understand fitting better. Boats and Outboards good place to advertise. Have a look there first to get a feel for asking prices.
