Does anyone know of an equivalent for the fuel filter on my Beta BZ482 engine?

Beta part number 211 60210.

I tried my local Halfords and a car parts shop, but all their catalogues are based on car/van types, and I got some funny looks when I said it was for a Beta engine.

Thanks for that, Leona. It says on their website to send them an email if you want more than one item, so I've asked what they will charge for an Air/Fuel/Oil filters to be delivered to Aberdeenshire. I hope they don't try "Highlands & Islands" delivery charges, as that gets right up my nose!

Cheers
Jim

I took an original Beta oil, fuel and air filter to my local Auto Distributor, told them it was based on a Kubota engine and he matched them up perfectloy. From memory the air filter was a Lister/Petter filter.

These are the numbers I've collected so far...
Oil Filter Beta BZ482 211-63760
Kubota Z482 15853-32430
Fram PH5343/PH2163
Crosland 2142
SK SP4040
Coopers Z1129

Fuel Filter Beta BZ482 211-60210
Kubota Z482 15221-43170
Fram P4766
Crosland 5004
SK SK3674
Coopers FSM4027
Mahle micro-star OC196

Air Filter Beta BZ482 211-62950
Fram CA15
Fleetguard AF1657
SK SL5683

Alahol2,
Sorry to disagree with you, but the oil filter is Coopers Z1142.
I know because I just changed it yesterday, and was looking to change the fuel filter as well.

Your Fram & crosland numbers agree with Shanty, so I'll try these.

Cheers All
Jim

i always use the intranet site above for my anodes, intend to get the whole service kit from them next time.........

no hassle, no trying to match items, just one click and paypal sorts it out.

stuff always arrives quickly too.

They don't list pump/alternator drive belts - anybody know of a source for the BZ482?

For my B622, I took the original belt to the local engineering factor for transmission/bearings etc. They stock a complete range of sizes, numbered, I believe, by the internal circumference in mm. Prices are very reasonable.

I went to a motor factor armed with the size written on the belt, but they told me that some manufacturers use the internal circumference and some the external circumference, so I would have to bring them the old belt.
I took this to be the explanation for the belt on the engine and the spare that came with the boat having different numbers on them.

Not long after I bought Rowana, I replaced one battery with two of greater capacity. The downside was that it was EATING belts at an alarming rate. I discovered that it is a known problem, and Beta do a conversion to a modern "Polyvee" (sp?) belt. Once I fitted this, I've had no problems whatsoever.
