Can anyone advise me on the correct numbers for oil and fuel filters on a beta 35. those suppllied by beta are sprayed black obliterating the original numbers.

Doug: I suspect Talmine is trying to source non-Beta filters, in which Beta's part numbers won't be much use.

Talmine: there was a thread a while ago about the Beta 28 which might have a few pointers: www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=159659

Or, to save you the bother, Beta BD722 equivalents:
211-63760 Oil Filter (Fram PH5343 Crossland 2142) [* this is incorrect: Beta part number for 28 & 35 is 211-60390.]
211-60210 Fuel Filter (Fram p-4766 Crossland 5004) [This, of course, refers to the secondary fuel filter, the one mounted on the engine.]
211-62950 Air Cleaner Element (Air Filter Fram CA15)

I've just checked: in Beta's parts books, both the 28 and 35's oil and fuel filters are common (same Beta numbers). Air filters are different.

P.S. It's pouring down here so I've got nothing better to do...check out www.inlinefilters.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=13713

I've also used them in the past (but didn't mention it before 'cos they disappeared with my last laptop and I couldn't recall their name). Service was fine. As I recall, and as you might expect, they're somewhat better than generic suppliers at matching parts to specific boat engines.
