Beta 20hp age

Hi folks,
Does anyone know how to tell the year of a Beta20hp? I have the serial number and numbers form the sticker? Will that help or is it somewhere else? I don’t have any documentation .

Thanks, I’ll do that. Just wondered if there was a way to tell from the stickers (like an outboard)

The number most helpful to them is the W.O.C.No. (Works Order Card Number) - this gives them details of the sale and exact accessories & mods etc. it was supplied with, etc. - but I dare say they could find the date from the engine Serial Number.

I have found the people at Beta most helpful and knowledgeable.

Sorted now, thanks for help.
If anyone else is interested the first number/letter of serial tells the year. The second letter the month. E.g. my serial number starts 1S so is Sept 2001 (at least for my engine)
