Best way to sell my boat??

Hi all,

It looks like I may have to sell the Mariah this year. What is the best way to go about it, the traders want silly money!

Or if you know anyone who might be interested..

Take a nice photo of it, buy a copy of Boats and Yachts For Sale, fill in the slip in the magazine and send it all off to them. It'll cost about £120 but its well worth it. I've sold three boats using them, the response was fenomiul, thernomin, fermoninal, FANTASTIC!

I tried this and reesemarine and had 2 enquiries over a 6 month period.
Boat was a Broom Ocean 34, 4 years old.

I think they are both useless, at least for that type of boat.
I have previously used Boats and Yachts and found it infinitely superior. OK so it costs, but nothing in comparison to the value of the boat to say nothing of the frustration of waiting for punters.

Yes I agree, I have sold my 2 previous boats that way but would still try boats and outboards, nothing to lose.

It's free - so yes you have nothing to loose.

My current boat is finding it a bit difficult to sell on the same site - but then it is a bit of an oddity - a 17ft Diesel Inboard Cuddy boat - not much good for the UK weather in winter. It's either the spec or the price that is causing the problem - but I'm not getting any bites with low offers.

My boat is currently for sale and I have had quite a few interested parties from boats and outboards.I have also a sign on the boat which seems to get a good response.
