Last night we went up to Mapledurham and on our return approach to Caversham Lock, there was a gang of around 8 16-19yrs olds pulling a small blue tender along the bank.
As we approached, most of them ran off leaving 3-4 who were clearly caught red-handed trying to tie her up just under Reading Bridge. Tried to take a photo but no luck.
Dont know how to describe her: 3m long; old, run-down blue fibreglass; open boat with front built-in covered area (looks like a VERY small fishing boat, but will take a photo when we go out this weekend. Possibly a tender for a NB or other.
Judging by where they were, it seems likely they came through the lock (it was afterhours).
Question: where is the best place to report this so that the boat and owner can be re-united?
Cheers
