Best way to reduce speed on a VP AQ130 270 set up ?

Got myself a boat that runs twin Volvo Penta AQ130`s with 270 drives.

Problem is it is to fast for canal speeds of 4mph with one engine running. Onyl way i can think is to reduce the prop, wellt he pitch.

Specs at the minute are

130hp engine with 1.6/1 G box
prop slip is 30
prop is a 15x14
so at 1200rpm it gives 8.5 knots.

looking at calculators if i get a 15x8 prop it will give 5knows at 1500rpm.

does thus sound the best way to go ?

What rpm do you currently get at full throttle and normal GW?

You ideally should reach 5100, but if pottering around only it isn't important.

it doesnt run at the minute and never run it but its standard and at 5000rpm it gets 30mph.
