Hiya,
Considering a boat with a faulty engine.
Working on the worst case scenario of a full replacement - costing about £5k I am hoping this one can be repaired.
The owner SAYS it has a blown head gasket - which if it's milky oil is quite possible.
Engine is a 4.3Gi petrol (please no lectures on how this is the fuel of the devil and outdrives are satans children - but I can't afford a diesel shaftdrive!)
The boat is cheap and I could replace the engine completely and it would still be worth the money I think - but I want someone who I can trust to be able to diagnose and fix it not too expensively.
So who would people recommend around Bristol way (can be a reasonable distance - I can tow it - I just need someone I can trust who actually know what they are doing!
