Apologies for being obtuse, but I'm not sure what you are looking for? A bit more info might be useful?

My guess is, he means a transom plate, for this size of engine they are usually made up from folded stainless steel, around 3 or 4 mm thick, the engine bolts then go through both sides of the stainless.
