Hi All,

Looking for suggestion for the best tool to deal with flat screws on DP-E outdrive for an oil change.
Those are bit stuck and dont want to use wrong tools to damage them.

I would imagine the best option would be a wrench with big flat bit attached. Something with a lever probably.

Anyone could share something already tested to avoid few attempts without success.

Thanks!

Volvopaul is the best tool for the job

I bought a socket with a flat bit head specifically for this job. I will have a look later to see if I can find a reference for it.

Thanks everyone for all replies.

Draper one look good at 12mm. Combined with manual impact driver and bit of hammering should be good way forward.
Only problem is bit limited space for top screw.

I think I'll go with this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aurlloct-I...lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=AQ5Z9RQ8C6FZF
If included 10mm will be too small I would add 12mm from draper.

Tool got standard 1/2'' mounting point so could attach to my standard ratchet if there is no space to hammer impact driver from the top.

Reading the above comments confirms why outdrives have so many problems, either do it properly or leave well alone.
