Best stuff to remove the smell of diesel from your cloths

Had the same problem with diesel dumped on two pair of jeans. A lot of diesel as in spilled about a gallon on them. I washed them 6-8 times, soaked them for a couple of days in the washer and washed again and used every kind of product I could find (although I don't have access to that French stuff). Finally tied a rope through the belt loops and hung them over the side of the boat. Came back a couple of weeks later, reeled them in and the smell was all gone. Still have one of the pair.

What about the barnacles - or does diesel make a good antifoul as well. Cause if it does, you are on your way to making a fortune!!!!

Try a spray on degreaser called Elbow Grease, costs £1 a bottle if you can find it. Spray it on the jeans then wash them. Works for me.
