This might eb an odd question, but I need more space as I'm adding vhf/plotter/autohelm etc to my bradwell, which currently has a box with 6 fuses/switches for electrics. I assume that folk just source a box from somewhere and then cut out an opeing to take the fusebox of choice and mount it all to a bulkhead?
Where would be a good place to find reasonable sized wooden boxes? I was thinking an old chess set perhaps?
More to the point, does it need to be teak or marine ply? or would a simple pine box like this do if I varnished it?
