Best reasonable priced chart plotter

Are you certain of that? SH don't manufacture radar scanners and I doubt that they will be compatible with the products of any of their competitors.

Update : the manual does indeed say that it will work with a 3rd party radar antenna from SI-TEX, but it is described as a USA option only. They don't currently seem to have any UK distributor.

I can confirm that as I have had a Si-Tex radar working with my CP300i plotter for the last 3 years. Purchased from Marine Electronic services, it works fine, I think the 180 screen would be far too small though.

They also claim that the Seiwa ones in the next section of the page work with Standard Horizon plotters. Looking at the specs, I suspect Seiwa and SiTex are more or less the same thing in different boxes.

Been trying to select a reasonably priced chart plotter, never had one before so no experience as to know what to look for, so looking for advice from those who know.
