Any replys appreciated

I've sold my last two boats on boatsandoutboards. I take the brokers commission I would have paid off the price which makes it good value and generates lots of interest.

So why are you selling, new boat planned?

Try putting it on here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

With subject line saying where's the best place to s,,,,,,,,,, /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have admired you boat from our Sealine 215, she is also for sale, at Brisyol Yacht Brokerage.
We are also using Boatsandoutboards, sold our last boat on this site.
Good luck with your sail (sic),

I knocked up a simple web page then included the link on an advert on boatsandoutboards and an eBay classified add. Some interest generated from both sites.

The broker we were purchasing the new boat from also put it up on boatshop24 for us. This generated a good lead which led to a confirmed viewing appointment from a buyer in Cornwall. Boat sold prior to the viewing to a guy who saw a simple 'for sale' sign attached to the boat.

I think the sign had only been on the boat a couple of weeks, got a deposit subject to survey on first veiwing. Cost nothing for the sign so well worth it if you have any 'passing traffic'.

What you also need is a string of people complaining about this post being blatant advertising, thus keeping it at the top of the pile /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Well I do think it's blatant advertising.
I'm about to put Slippy up for sale and I wouldn't consider doing such a thing.

Despite the fact that I don't want very much for her, I think it's appalling to use this forum to try and get a buyer for what is just a simple little sailing boat, with a trailer.

Ah , but for it to be classified as a commercial post you'd have to say how much you wanted for it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and that just wouldn't be on /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is the thread at the top again ? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

That site looks okay.

If you've got a couple of hours to spare and have your own webspace from your ISP try 'web page maker' which is free to try. Very simple to use. My for sale site is still up if you want to see my first attempt using the application. Click the Fidget link below.

We are also selling our boat and I decided to make it a nice wee website tonight - Website

What do you think of it ?? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Edit : Oops...forgot the price /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
