Best place to sell a Boat

No Im getting rid of boat because I want an end bedroom, and thats it. we spent the month of Aug on the boat all but 5 days and after that time we decided we wanted a bedroom not a room nder a deck.

I love shafts they are great, there is no work to do on them and easy to use, you can turn a boat tighter on shaft than you can on legs. and combined with a B thruster its easy to handle

Really? I guess you mean at low speed in a marina because at planning speed there is no contest. It is a different driving style for sure, but on my previous twin leg boat I could turn her in her own length without a thruster. Can't see who much tighter you can get.

yes I mean in a marina. I am no expert but Im told its pivot points. On shaft the prop is under the back of the engine so this is where the pivot point is and will spin there, on legs they hang out the back of a boat use the same method and it will spin on the back of the boat.

On flat water, put the boat in gear and it will walk (paddle) sideways, use bow t and you can move the boat sideways.

This is an advantage along with less maintenance but there are disadvantages as well. Its each to their own.

Dont rule out shaft

I wouldn't rule out a shaft boat. I just find the comments that Legs are hard to drive ridiculous - usually made by people who haven't spent much (any?) time driving them.

It is a different technique for sure - but you have the advantage with legs of vectored thrust. No prop walk with duo props, but you can still use one engine to tuck the stern in while useing (if you must) a bow prop up front.
