Watch this space for a repower thread...

I have 2 good running engines, 2 engines to break for parts and 2 gearboxes to sell.

Ebay fees are a bit steep, especially when you add paypal (which you must offer)

Boatsandoutboards, apolloduck, YBW.

Is findafishingboat worth it?

Is it a bit to specialised for Gumtree?

Anywhere else I should advertise?

List on EBay with telephone no. And ask for cash on collection, buyers of this kind of thing will probably want to have a look. Listing fees not too steep.

I sold the old petrols from my boat when I converted to diesel to a chap from Belgium on boatshop24. com, had them on most of the sites you list as well.

Is it free on boatshop24? I've just launched a pair of gearboxes on Apolloduck and Boatsandoutboards.

Have had reasonable success with ebay for the parts I'm selling off and the running pair sold via Apolloduck.

A friend of mine shifting privately two Sabre 310's with boxes no interest all year then end of season placed them in find a fishing boat and shifted the lot for good money.

Outdrives engines especialy with drives especially green ones seem to find buyers easily but shaft drive engines are not so easy to shift.
