I have a Vodaphone mifi hotspot. 50gb plan, with their entertainment pass..which costs £37 per month. The annual contract is coming to an end in Aug. I would like to renew, but they have dropped the entertainment pass now, which was great as it gave unlimited viewing of netflix, amazon prime, youtube and TVPlayer, you could stream as much as you like, with no impact on the 50gb allowance.

Obviously I will wait till Aug to see if they will renew as is...but if not, what are you guys using?

There are some good deals in Spain but they are based on a monthly payment annual contracts. I’m still looking for a good one off, say 50gb, which I can use over the year and top up from time to time.
There is an advantage in buying in the UK that iPlayer etc thinks you’re in the UK even when in Spain. There is however a limit on overseas use with these cards.

I used to bother but now Three allow tethering overseas ( half their documentation still says they dont allow it ) I have 30gb a month as does my girlfriend and kids.

The main data user is Netflix and if you run in in SD as opposed to HD this is about 6-700mb per hour - so 30gb is a lot of Netflix!

Three is not perfect - most roaming is a 3g as opposed to 4g but it works fine.

I have previously used Sim Sur which was E100 for month 1 and E75 thereafter for 100gb as I recall.

Amazon seems to go through a lot of our data but I can’t seem to find a way to change it from sd which I assume it is using.
Any ideas?
